Sam's Club, Carhartt to join Tempe Marketplace roster
A Phoenix-area shopping center is welcoming four new tenants to its mix – including a leading wholesale club chain.
Tempe Marketplace, a 1.3 million sq.-ft. open-air retail destination, has announced a new slate of tenants including Sam’s Club, the first Carhartt store in the Phoenix area, Lovisa Jewelry, and Relive Med Spa, together occupying more than 150,000 sq. ft. of retail space. The property currently has more than 100 tenants.
“The addition of these new tenants including Sam’s Club with its cutting-edge, technology-driven store format-alongside first-to-market brands like Carhartt, bring significant energy and value to Tempe Marketplace,” said Taylor Alvey, VP of leasing at Vestar, the center’s owner and operator. “We’re proud to continue curating a dynamic mix of retailers across all categories that elevate the overall guest experience.”

Sam’s Club will host grand opening events on Friday, June 13, and Saturday, June 14. Guests can enjoy giveaways, exclusive discounts, refreshments, and more during the two-day celebration. The Walmart-owned membership club will provide convenient shopping options including curbside pickup, home delivery, and the new Scan & Go technology. As the primary form of payment in-club, members will use the Scan & Go feature in the Sam’s Club app to scan each product as they shop, and computer vision-powered exit technology will verify the goods purchased upon exiting the club.
Michigan-based workwear brand Carhartt will open a more than 6,000-sq.-ft. store at Tempe Marketplace at the end of 2025. The brand is known for its durable clothing and accessories, designed for tough work environments.
Lovisa Jewelry, the fashion-forward jewelry brand is now open in a more than 1,000 sq.-ft. space. Known for offering on-trend jewelry pieces at accessible prices, Lovisa introduces new styles each week, ensuring that customers always have access to the latest designs.
Relive Med Spa is a wellness and medical aesthetics provider dedicated to extending health span through personalized care. Opening this fall in a more than 2,000-sq.-ft. location, Relive Med Spa offers services including hormone therapy, medical weight loss, IV vitamin and ozone therapy, and advanced anti-aging treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, HydraFacial, laser skin resurfacing, and laser hair removal.
Vestar’s portfolio includes 69 properties in Arizona, Washington, California, Utah, Nevada, and Colorado.
